Gajar Halwa Recipe
One of the most exciting and mouth-watering winter treat that people look forward to in India as the winter approaches is Gajar Halwa. The dessert made with red grated carrots, milk or mawa, nuts and ghee doesn't need a lot of ingredients but a little bit of your time and patience in order for it to turn out perfectly.
A great combo of health and nutrition, one can easily make a healthier version of the halwa by replacing sugar with jaggery if suffering from diabetes.

Ingredients
- 1 kg - Carrot
- 500 gm - Khoya/Mawa
- 3 tbsp – Ghee
- 2 tbsp - sugar (depend on your taste)
- 1 green cardemom/ Ilaayachee
How to Make Gajar Halwa Step By Step:-
1. Wash carrots and boil them well
2. Put desi ghee in the pan, add green cardamom .
3. Drop the water and start roasting the carrots in a pan or in which you want to make them.
4. After 7 minutes, add sugar and add mawa fry for 5 minutes..
5. Served garnished with chopped cashew nuts, pistachio.
- You can also make carrot pudding by grating it.

be made only with milk
- You can also make by adding both milk and mawa.
