Muslim-made mutton biryani has a distinctive flavor that is
challenging to reproduce. The meat is incredibly delicate and tasty, and the
rice is fragrant and savory. Just enough masala to pique your interest, but
not too much or too spicy either.
Ingredients
Beef-
1 1/2 kg
Onion
- 500gm chopped
Ginger
- 1 tablespoon finely grated
Garlic
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped
Dry
Red Chilli - 2 chopped
Green
Chilli - 4-5 pieces
Coriander
Powder - 1 teaspoon
Green
Cardamom - 4 pods
Cinnamon
Stick 2 - 2 pieces
Cloves
- 4 pieces
Bay
Leaf - 2 pieces
Garam
Masala powder - 1 tsp
Tomato
- 3 Chopped
Oil
- 150gm
Salt-
to taste
Instructions:-
- Wash the meat and keep it in the
cooker.
- Now add onion, ginger, garlic, green chili,
coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt to the cooker.
- Cover the cooker and keep it for 30
minutes.
- Put oil in the pan, fry the onion brown
and take it out on a plate. and take out half a bowl of oil and keep it for
tempering
- Now put bay leaves in the same oil and
fry all the spices of the cooker.
- When oil starts coming up from all
sides, add curd and fry it for 10 minutes and turn off the gas.
- Put 1 tbsp oil in the vessel in which
rice is to be made, add cumin, salt and after boiling water add rice. Cook
the rice, taking care that the rice is not wet.
- Take a vessel, put rice in it, and
spread it all around. Now put a layer of spices on it, add fried onions and chopped tomatoes, and spread rice on it again. Make 2-3 layers like
this in the vessel.
- After the rice is in the last layer, put
chopped tomatoes, brown onions, and green coriander, and color it.
- There was oil left in the bowl, now add
1/2 tsp garam masala and heat it, and temper the biryani. Keep it on low flame
for 10 minutes.
- Biryani is ready, now serve it with
salad.
Note:
- If you want then skip color.
- If the mutton has not become soft in 30 minutes, then keep it for some more time.
- If basmati rice is not available then you can make it with regular rice also.
