This seviyan recipe can be prepared both dry and with milk, and both have an incredibly delicious flavour. taste. Add saffron and green cardamom powder to the milk-based meethi seviyan to give it extra flavour. ingredients:-

 

·         Sewai - 500gm

·         Water - 250 ml 

·         Sugar- 500gm

·         Mawa - 500 gm 

·         Coconut powder - 200gm

·         Almond - 100 gm 

·         Oil /ghee - 50gm

·         Milk - 3 liter

·         Choti ilaychi - 1/4 tsp

 

 

 

 Instructions:-

 

  • Put milk in a deep vessel and keep it on low flame.
  • In a kadhai heat 1 tbs desi ghee and stir fry the vermicelli (sewai) till it turns red.
  • In a kadhai heat 1 tbs desi ghee and stir fry the almond till it turns red.
  • In a kadhai heat 1 tbs desi ghee and stir fry the coconut powder till it turns red.
  • In a kadhai heat 1 tbs desi ghee and stir fry the mawa till it turns red.
  •  Now put sugar and water in a deep vessel and cook the syrup well.
  • When the syrup is cooked, add lemon juice and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Put this syrup in boiling milk and let it cook. let it cook till it turns light brown
  • Now add roasted mawa, coconut powder and ground almonds and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Switch off the gas and keep it for some time to cool down.
  • The milk has cooled down a bit, add vermicelli and mix well, now in a separate pan add 1 tsp desi ghee, add small cardamom powder and heat it, now pour ghee around it and cover the vermicelli.
  • Now take out the vermicelli in a beautiful serving dish. Serve it garnished with chopped nuts.

 

 

    Note:-

            If you want then skip mawa cook only milk.
